Surface treatment process of plastic products

In general, plastics coloring and surface decoration, can be completed in plastic molding but, in order to increase the service life of the products, improve its appearance, will generally be two times the processing on the surface, a variety of decorative treatment.

The methods of surface treatment for plastic products are:

1. surface mechanical processing. Its effect is to make the surface smooth, bright, beautiful; the use of means of grinding, polishing and so on.

2. surface plating treatment. The effect is decorative, landscaping, anti-aging, corrosion resistance; the use of means of finishing, printing (silk screen, transfer printing, pad printing), film, hot stamping, etc..

3. surface decoration treatment. Its effect is to make the surface wear-resistant, anti-aging, metal luster, beautiful; the use of means of thermal spraying, electroplating, ion plating and so on.

I. Scrub

Generally refers to the plastic film or sheet, in the calender forming, the roller itself has a variety of lines, through the lines of different materials to reflect the transparency.

Two. Polishing

Four. Printing

Plastic part printing refers to the process of printing the desired patterns on the surface of plastic parts, which can be divided into screen printing, surface printing (pad printing), hot stamping, infiltration printing and printing.

1. screen printing

Six. Plating

One of the metal electrodeposition technologies is a metal coating process using electrochemical deposition of metal deposits on the surface of the workpiece. It can change the appearance of the solid material, change the surface characteristics, make the material corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, decorative and electrical, magnetic, optical properties.

1. water plating

Generally suitable for ABS material, ABS+PC material products. The main process is to electroplate the products which need to be plated in the chemical plating bath.

2. vacuum ion plating (also known as vacuum coating)

Generally applicable to a wide range, such as ABS, ABS+PC, PC products. At the same time, because of its complicated process, environment and equipment requirements, unit price is more expensive than water electroplating. The process flow is briefly introduced:

The product surface is clean, electrostatic removing, spraying primer, baking primer, vacuum coating, spraying top coat, baking top coat and packing.

Seven. Biting flowers

Etching process, Hongkong called "Sun pattern", Taiwan called "bite flowers", "etch" is written in English, called texture or texturing.
